A Comprehensive Approach
Many families come to us with multiple services in place. They have met with classroom teachers. They have tried other tutors. Some have consulted professionals for testing in search of finding the answer to their child’s emotional and academic struggles. HMLC takes a comprehensive approach, offering a wide range of services typically provided by a variety of professionals. This relieves our families of the burden of having to coordinate care and juggle multiple appointments and, in most cases, ends up being less expensive than paying multiple providers.
Services Include:
- Comprehensive Academic Assessment
- Personalized analysis of school testing (Lexile Level, STAAR)
- Individualized academic plan
- Educational consultation
- ARD, IEP, and 504 support
Collaboration with classroom teacher:
- 1:1 tutoring
- Semi-private tutoring
- IEP and 504 guidance
- Parent Coaching Intensive (20 hours)
- 1:1 Mentoring sessions for parent or child
- Parent-teacher conferences and progress checks
