HMLC has some of the best teachers in the business. All teachers are trained in the Student Empowerment Method, a relational approach to education that emphasizes transferrable skills over set curriculum. Our teachers connect with students in small groups, with teacher-student ratios ranging from 1:2 to 1:5. These groups are carefully curated to encourage student engagement and nurture rapid growth both academically and emotionally.
Our teachers collaborate with families and classroom teachers to ensure all student needs are being met. This collaborative approach provides academic continuity and understanding of individualized student challenges.
